Before coming to Canada this year I felt my spirituality was sort of on shaking ground and so this summer a change and a closer relationship with God was pursued. While here my aunty introduced this book; ‘Soaring Above the Flames by Ann Ansah- Grant’ to me. In my own overall opinion of this book, one word comes to mind; Awesome. The writer attained so much. It’s full of twist and turns just like our lives, it also held hidden truths down our dark paths just like us. This book was an outlet of teachings about God and his word, it was about grace praise and mercy; it also expresses the necessity for forgiveness. It also talks about purpose and the main calling God has for our lives. For an avid reader like myself I found the plot very refreshing as the turns were very unexpected, also the story was very expressive as well as informative. It held truths and teachings for my very own life. I could see myself in the characters and feel their every emotion. For me as I went along the plot the pain and worry which later turned into joy and happiness, which is a lot like our lives. This book has been very inspirational and has given me a lot to think and change in my own Christian life. It has also taught me to think and look at certain situation differently and when problems arise as a Christian I need to tap in more in my faith and trust more on Gods plan and not my own. This book also refreshed my memory on things like God is an on time God and all we have to do is wait, trust and believe in his precious word. I loved the fact that before every chapter it was started with a bible verse that spoke about the things of the chapter. This book is a blessing to anyone who reads it. I await the next book from this author (she has a great gift of writing I pray the next book will be in quick time).

Brilliant. Simple Breathtakingly Brilliant. I made up in my mind to enjoy this as a summer read a few pages at a time. But I had difficulty letting go of the book because it captivated my waking hours. I literally had to will myself to engage in social gatherings. As I read I was taken on this journey that I am not sure how to explain but it was like I was reading in 3D. I was literally visualizing every printed words and the pages came alive as if I was sitting in the movie; reading , yes, but watching the very heartbeat conjured up in my mind of SATF (Soaring Above The Flames). It was a riveting experience. Humorous and suspenseful too. I was on the edge and never saw the plot twists coming. The action described reminded me of the Matrix or Transporformers! The author has such an amazing vibrant and vivid imagination. This book is not just writing but prophetic anointing ordained by God. I pray that God will be instrumental in bringing the resources to have this awesome Christian work brought to the movie screen to impact and change people.

This book...THIS...BOOK! COMPELLING, GRIPPING, RIVETING! are only some of the adjectives to describe this book. An absolute PAGE TURNER! The title "Soaring Above The Flames" how apropos! It most certainly took me to flight and it was like being on an amazing roller coaster ride (which in the literal sense, I would not be able to wait to get off) that I wanted to stay on and never descend. Author extraordinaire, sister. I speak for the masses when I say...thank you! and WE WANT MORE!
